What data we process and why
Shop purchases: name, email, shipping address, phone and order details, to perform the contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and for tax obligations (Art. 6.1.c). Gift cards: buyer's email, optional recipient name and message, code and usage, to issue the gift card and let it be used at the bar. Bookings: the form prepares a WhatsApp message that you send; we use that data only to handle your booking. Email: if you write to us, we use your data to reply.
Who processes data with us
Stripe (payments) receives payment details directly from you; Rare never sees or stores card details. Printful (production and shipping) receives name, address, phone and email to deliver the order. Hostinger (hosting of the website, server and mailbox). WhatsApp/Meta for booking messages. Some providers may process data outside the EU with GDPR safeguards (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
How long
Order and gift card data for as long as needed to handle them and then for 10 years, as required by tax law. Booking messages for as long as needed for the booking.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing by writing to info@rarecocktailhouse.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This website uses no profiling cookies or analytics, and fonts are served by the site itself. It only uses technical browser storage so the opening animation is not repeated during the same visit; no consent is needed. When you pay, Stripe's page uses its own technical and anti-fraud cookies. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps lead to those sites, which have their own rules.
